Feedback from the Client

iCapture does advanced technical simulations and analysis for a wide range of international companies. We wanted a website that conveys the concept that working with iCapture on these complex projects is simple. We asked Patrick Casey Design to create a website with a light and simple look & feel. We really wanted and innovative design since we often help our clients to innovate and develop new products. We restricted the colours to those of the illustrations our clients receive. Based on that (plus the illustrations and animations we provided) - the guys at Patrick Casey Design came up with the right design for us first time around!! Web Design Brief

We were asked by the client to design a website that would have a light and uncluttered look & feel. They wanted to convey a sense of simplicity and clarity, which was to reflect the way in which their services simplified complex problems for their customers.

The client had very specific colour requirement, and provided material from which to draw inspiration. Based on these specifications, we created several draft designs, representing refinements of the design.

The final design presents a simple and easy-to-use interface to the user, with wealth of information contained within the clever layout. The use of sliding jQuery panels allows this information to be accessed in a neat and intuitive way.

Logo Design

The client required a logo that would match the themes of simplicity, but would also reflect aspects of the company's activities. The logo is a simplified representation of an audio speaker, which is a typical item modelled by the client.

Ingredients

This website was designed and mocked-up in Adobe Photoshop CS5. The site code was written in PHP, HTML, jQuery and CSS. Analytics were included to track visitor statistics.
